Job overview

Working within Integrated Sexual Health Service the Senior Administration Assistant will provide comprehensive high quality, confidential, administrative and clerical services to 
the senior management and clinical team.
To be a point of contact for the sexual health team and external agencies. 
The post holder will be working a flexible shift pattern and may 
include covering duties of colleagues in their absence i.e., annual leave, sickness, possibly at short notice.
The post involves a range of duties requiring good communication skills, an ability to work autonomously or as part of a busy team, an awareness of customer care and a flexible, adaptable and non-judgemental attitude.
The post holder will be expected to undertake safeguarding training (Children and Adults)  appropriate to their role and adhere to policies and procedures relevant to the area they  work in and demonstrate commitment to the principles of Equality & Diversity and all  Spectrum Values

  • GCSE’s including English Language and Maths or equivalent.
Desirable criteria
  • Typing Qualification

Skills

Essential criteria
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Able to deal with patients/public on the telephone and face to face
  • Effective administrative skills
Desirable criteria
  • A strong commitment to tackling inequalities in health.

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Knowledge of working in a busy office environment
  • Previous experience in a customer or patient facing administrative role. Experience of working as part of the Admin team in a Health Care Setting
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working on SystmOne
