Due to the promotion of the previous post-holder we are looking for a HR Advisor to join our HR Team, based at our offices in Wakefield.

You will be part CIPD qualified, or working towards this, coupled with experience of providing HR advice in a busy work environment. You may have previous NHS experience but crucial to this role will be the ability to provide good quality HR advice and build effective and supportive working relationships with a wide range of managers.

The role will be based at our offices in Wakefield, but will include regular travel to sites as needed, including attending meetings in secure environments e.g., HM Prisons. We are happy to consider hybrid working (e.g. part homeworking and part based at sites/Wakefield office) after an induction and settling in period.

The role will provide professional HR advice, guidance and coaching to managers in accordance with Spectrum’s policies, employment legislation, ACAS codes of practice and other professional standards. HR advice will be in a on a wide range of people issues, including terms and conditions of employment, conduct, performance management, grievances and absence.
