Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service (NEPTS) for an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Business Systems Trainer.
This is a key role within the NEPTS Business Systems Team, supporting colleagues across the service to develop the knowledge and confidence needed to use our systems effectively. You will work with a wide range of users, from apprentices and new starters to highly experienced colleagues and external healthcare partners, providing effective training, assessments, familiarisation and advice on all systems used by NEPTS.

The position is a full time Band 4 role (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 0900-1700), based at our headquarters in Wakefield. Some occasional off site training may also be required.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
- identify training needs, develop and deliver training and assessments as required on PTS Systems such as Cleric, GRS, telephony systems, PTS Online.
- Create training materials, including user guides and step-by-step tutorials, in a variety of formats.
- Conduct live, virtual, and one-on-one training sessions, tailoring the style of delivery to meet the learner needs of the group.
- Provide ongoing support and follow ups to ensure successful adoption and implementation of learning.
- Monitor and assess training effectiveness.
- Review and update existing training packages as necessary.
- Carry out performance assessments to determine skill/knowledge gaps.
- Maintain a database to record training status of YAS staff, ensuring training is recorded on Trust systems as appropriate.

Essential criteria
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with a wide range of staff and stakeholders, adapting style to suit different audiences and levels of system knowledge
- Ability to deliver engaging one-to-one and group training sessions, both face to face and remotely.
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- GCSE's at grade 4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in training, education, administration, call centre, or NEPTS environment.
Desirable criteria
- Training Qualification e.g. Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET)
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience delivering training, coaching or supporting learning.
- Experience within Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services, NHS or similar complex service environment.
Desirable criteria
- Experience contributing to service, process or quality improvement activity
