Job overview
Due to department restructure an exciting new opportunity has arisen to lead the dietetic department whilst providing a specialist service to critical care and patients with complex nutritional needs including parenteral nutrition.
The role will provide the lead to a small but forward thinking and dynamic department of 10 adult and paediatric dietitians, including the line management of the most senior team members. It will also have managerial responsibility for the provision of services to a diverse range of patient care groups across a wide range of developmental and medical disorders.
This role would be suitable for an aspect of home working however clinical commitments would also require the post holder to be present on site

Have overall responsibility and accountability for leading and managing Dietetics services, in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality services for all patients, across a wide variety of teams and agencies.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
- Be responsible for clinical governance across dietetics services, linking this with Trust programmes for clinical governance and with responsibility for initiating and co-ordinating dietetics audit and research activity.

Essential criteria
- HCPC registered dietitian with suitable clinical experience in complex nutrition support and/or critical care
- Evidence of postgraduate study
- Evidence of service development, review or audit
- Clinical supervisory skills training
Desirable criteria
- NMP qualification
- Formal management training

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
