Job overview
Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Estates Department Team, helping us deliver a high-quality, efficient, and responsive estates service across the organisation. As a key member of our multi-disciplined Estates team, you will work closely with and report to the Estates Officer (Operational). You will be responsible for managing you own allocated workload, ensuring tasks are completed effectively and to a high standard.
Main duties of the job
Main Responsibilities
- · To assist in the maintenance and repair of installations, plant and equipment to keep unplanned downtime to a minimum, to comply with the Health & Safety at work Act and other legislation, to maximise efficiency and customer satisfaction (scope: 1000 reactive tasks and 600 planned tasks PPM for ETS in total)
- Flushing of water outlets and support senior maintenance staff in routine water testing and sampling activities so as to maintain compliance with ACOP L8
- Minor plumbing and mechanical tasks and assist building trades where appropriate, whilst having an understanding of the operation of building services in NHS buildings to maintain safe and efficient operation of the buildings and building services.
