Job overview

Due to the promotion of existing Band 4s, we are looking for 2 highly motivated, responsible, and reliable pharmacy technicians to join our friendly, well established, and hardworking teams in the Inpatient Dispensary.

Are you hardworking, friendly, enthusiastic, registered or soon to be registered; then we're looking for you to join our dedicated support services team?

This post requires candidates who are flexible, looking to progress their careers and above all be passionate and focused on providing the best possible patient care.

You may be looking to expand your hospital experience or make that leap from community.  We'd love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

Our established technician post offers a breadth of pharmacy experience including working in our state of the art robotic dispensary and with an opportunity to access an introduction to distribution and procurement.

  • NVQ & BTec or Apprenticeship in Pharmaceutical science/studies
  • Registration with GPhC
  • Final accuracy Checking (ACPT)
Desirable criteria
  • Hospital experience
  • Experience in use of CMM (JAC) pharmacy computer system
