Portering Services are looking for motivated individuals to join their small and friendly team. 

This is a physically demanding role, rewarding, challenging and a job that makes a real difference to our patient experience and the smooth running of our services.  On a daily basis, you may walk 10+ miles per day, transfer patients on beds or chairs to other departments and wards, move equipment, medical notes and office/ward moves.  Other duties include assisting with the delivery of internal post, Pharmacy supplies to wards and blood related products to various wards across the Trust.

There will also be the use of our on-site electrical vehicles; this can include collection of waste, delivering of post and pharmacy deliveries.

We offer an outstanding benefits package alongside an hourly rate of £11.45 per hour with enhancements for shifts worked at weekends, bank holidays and nights (Enhanced Hourly Rate £20.94 (8pm - 6am/Saturday; Enhanced Hourly Rate Sunday £23.47)
