eRoster Implementation Facilitator

Band 4

Job overview

It’s an exciting and busy time for the E-Roster Team here at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust.

We are currently in the middle of delivering two significant pieces of work – Medical rostering and the Trust wide roll out of eRostering for Agenda for Change (AfC) staff.  This is work that has been mandated by National Health Service England (NHSE) following on from a series of government white papers specifically highlighting the importance of eRostering as critical to having the ‘right people, in the right place and the right time’.

To date, we are approximately two thirds of the way through  implementation, however one of our team has secured an internal secondment for 12 months,  so we are looking for someone to join us on a  secondment/fixed term basis to help to support backfill the role and the work that is already in progress.

As a minimum requirement you will need to be able to demonstrate worked experience of building and implementing AfC rosters, not just day to day management.  If this sounds like you and you are interested in joining our small team, then please see the next section for the main duties of this role.

Main duties of the job

As one of the eRoster Implementation Facilitator’s you will be responsible for delivering a full eRoster implementation and training service to our medical and AfC colleagues.  This will include, but is not limited to:

·       building rosters from beginning to end based on service requirements and specifics.

·       liaising with relevant colleagues to arrange meetings, collect data, and build sound working relationships to ensure that rosters are well built, sustainable and within the timeframe of the project plan.

·       providing ongoing business as usual support to system users, acting as the first point of contact for queries, concerns and feedback.

·       acting as a good role model and ambassador for the wider eRoster service and team.

·       delivering initial and ongoing training to all service users as and when required, ensuring that this is well planned and co-ordinated throughout the eRoster team.

·       support the development of, monitor and maintain accurate project documentation to ensure seamless delivery of service.

·       working towards eRostering accreditation (if not already achieved)

If this sounds familiar and you are still interested in joining us, then why not come in and meet us for an informal chat!
