• Delivering prepared training packages, coaching teams and supporting staff as part
of the Trust Improving Together roadmap as well as delivering a suite of bespoke
and planned identified training to teams as required.
• Supporting the development, roll out and delivery of Rapid Improvement Events
(RIE’s) working in collaboration with the Head of Transformation Resourcing and
Head of Coach House/Continuous improvement.
• The day-to-day management of one or more staff, as required.
You will:
• Have responsibility to deliver own results, including planning, and developing and
delivering all assigned tasks to the required deadlines.
• Receive guidance from the Head of Coach House and Continuous Improvement and
peers who are experienced in the Improving Together roll out.

• Develop the necessary skills and experience in the Improving Together approach
and concept through provided training.

of Transformation Resourcing.

Main duties of the job

Assist clinical and operational leadership teams in building an engaged workforce
that utilises all Trust staff to drive results towards organisational goals.
• Support the delivery of occasionally complex messages, some of which may be
contentious within the delivery context. There may be major barriers to acceptance,
as this will lead to different ways of working.
• Establish effective collaborative working relationships with internal and external
clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Regularly interact with colleagues across the organisation in progressing agreed
improvement activity.
• Role model best practice behaviour for safety, quality, improvement and all Trust
policy compliance.

Analytical and judgement skills
• Support the development of standard operating procedures/standard work
approaches for workstreams (training, improvement systems and projects).
• Supports teams, through when required, to develop new policy and guidance for that
service, facilitating working groups as required.

Planning and Organisational skills
• Contribute to the co-ordination of the planning for events, working closely with teams
to ensure appropriate participation and support.
• Support the Head of Coach House and Continuous Improvement on aspects of
service development and opportunity within the Coach House as the team and
programme develops.
• Ensuring oversight of project deadlines, milestones and where these are at risk,
ensure timely escalation.
