Delivery Suite Coordinator
Are you a motivated, dynamic and inspirational experienced Midwife and passionate about delivering high quality maternity care? If yes, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our dedicated perinatal team.
We are seeking midwives to join our fantastic and hardworking team as a Senior Midwife in Delivery Suite and supporting across our inpatient services. You will work in a supportive environment where our perinatal teams work closely to provide high quality service that meets the individual needs of mothers, birthing people and their babies.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will have continuing responsibility for a defined caseload/team including appropriate management of resources and contributory responsibility for a defined budget. They will provide effective midwifery leadership in a multidisciplinary team.
The position provides a specialist clinical role in addition to the management of operational issues and the provision of expert health advice. Essentially this will incorporate the provision of care to patients and their families in accordance with the philosophy and standards of care within the area, ensuring that values and beliefs are upheld.

- Current NMC registration
- Registered/Practising Midwife
- Mentorship/Preceptorship trained
- Maintain portfolio and PREPP requirements
- ALSO course or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
- Educated to Degree Level or evidence of working towards

- Evidence of Professional development
- Knowledge of research methodologies and audit
- Child Protection training
Desirable criteria
- Recognised management study

- Intrapartum care experience including shift management
