Please be advised that there is a temporary top up for Bands 1,2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top up to the  living wage of £12 per hour - £23,465 per annum. This temporary top up will be in place until  the annual pay uplift for 2024/25 is confirmed

 

Job overview

The overall purpose of the job is to work as part of a team and be committed to take part in providing the best quality catering service to patients and staff within the Trust. 

To share learned best practise with others in developing catering services as changes are made over time to allow the department and individuals to react to changing need

Main duties of the job

A vacancy has arisen for a part-time Clerical Support Officer – Catering based at Maelor Hospital. Hours of work between 8am to 12pm Saturday & Sunday, maybe required to cover weekends to meet service need. The person will be responsible for general administration, receiving phone calls and liaising with main kitchen & admin support for Catering. This includes placing and receipting of orders, menu collation, distribute patient provisions as and when required.

The use of computers and good communication skills are required to enable this small team to effectively undertake the tasks within the Job description.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
