Job overview
An opportunity has arisen to join a busy special care baby unit providing comprehensive administrative support to the nursing staff and doctors within the unit. We are looking to recruit a permanent member of staff for 16 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for colleagues with experience of admin and clerical duties, who have good interpersonal and organisational skills and who will be able to work well within our existing team.
You will need to have a flexible approach to work, be reliable, adaptable and have good organisational skills. A pleasant telephone manner and good communication skills are essential to receive and respond courteously to all telephone enquiries regarding patient care.
You will also be computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office, be a team player and able to maintain confidentiality. Applicants must also have a good standard of education.
Main duties of the role involve data inputting, admitting and discharging patients, answering the telephone, dealing with families, preparing case notes and filing.
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this role.
