Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band  6/ 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the Chronic Pain team at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. 

The post holder will be an expert practitioner in Pain Management Nursing with a specialist knowledge in chronic pain.

The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Pain Management Multidisciplinary team and work autonomously.

This can also be a role for applicants at band 6 level who are willing to  undertake masters level qualifications. 

Main duties of the job

The post holder will support the delivery of excellent patient care and experience.

The post holder will be responsible for contributing to the development of clinical practice, research and standards of care within the Acute Pain Service.

The post holder will organise and plan daily workload liaising with other clinicians to ensure continuity of care through clear communication of complex pain requirements.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
