Job overview

Are you passionate about digital developments making a difference to patients and staff?

We will be embarking on an 18-month programme to implement and embed a digital Patient Engagement Platform (PEP) across all operational services. This is a unique opportunity to progress the digital agenda, contributing to the ‘analogue to digital’ shift and will transform and modernise the way services work and engage with patients and the public.

Delivery of the PEP is a key enabler to Sirona’s ‘Improved Outcomes for All’ 2025-28 strategy and associated 2025/26 annual Business Plan.
The Programme Manager will play an instrumental role in leading and delivering implementation of the PEP. This will require significant transformation across the organisation to deliver, and the Programme Manager, in collaboration with the Senior Responsible Officer (SRO) and Head of Digital Clinical Systems, will recruit a dedicated project team to support achievement of this.

We are looking for an individual who is driven to improve the experience of patients through technology.  We need someone who is enthused by large scale change and is able to work collaboratively across a wide variety of teams to deliver new ways of working.  The successful post holder will ensure improved health equity and outcomes with a focus on personalised care is at the heart of everything they do. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!

Main duties of the job

The overarching aim of the job is to deliver implementation of a PEP to operational services in a way that delivers maximum benefits for patients and the organisation within the 18 month programme timeframe.

To achieve this, you will:

  • Be responsible for the oversight and delivery of the programme. This role will manage a programme of complex projects to deliver implementation of the PEP through collaboration and partnership both internal and external to Sirona.
  • Co-ordinate work using a shared framework for project and programme management that will be developed collaboratively with partner organisations to deliver strategic priorities.
  • Demonstrate technical programme management skills and offer innovation and creativity to the project teams to fully support the project and programme outcomes, including design and delivery of teaching packages to all levels of staff.
  • Provide expertise and leadership to support the project team to develop their projects and deliver required objectives, manage effective working relationships in the team, and be active in motivating and inspiring staff to produce their deliverables to the required standard and within budget.
  • Be politically astute and strategically aware to successfully oversee service reconfiguration and redesign. They will need to be able to manage multiple stakeholders and generate improvement opportunities, using their experience to influence teams to work in new ways.
