A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Skills Development Facilitator with Sirona CIC, the provider of innovative high-quality specialist community health and care services across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. The Clinical Skills Development Facilitator will be a key post within the Clinical Skills Team which is part of the Learning and Organisational Development & Design department in the People, Development and Communications Directorate

If you are an experienced registered professional in health and care services with a passion for learning and development, organisational development or education and training, this new and exciting role may be for you.

 

Main duties of the job

You will support, advise on and deliver a range of learning and practice development activity, and will, through the provision of high-quality training and development, help to enhance service delivery and improve patient outcomes. 

You'll work closely with the Learning and Practice Development Facilitators / Clinical Skills Team Managers to be actively involved in the development, implementation and review of relevant learning and development and offer evidence-based advice in relation to this to the clinical workforce.

You will work with the training leads and subject matter experts to oversee clinical effectiveness of any training and provide delivery of clinical training and ensure staff develop the appropriate knowledge, skills and behaviours to be fully effective in their roles, enabling them to deliver a safe, effective and caring service

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Nursing Degree - Registration with NMC
  • Clinical competencies supported by professional qualifications and educational background
  • Holds or working towards a post graduate Diploma or degree in management practice or HR/training (or equivalent level of experience).
Desirable criteria
  • Teaching Qualification

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Essential criteria
  • Previous experience within a clinical role, coupled with training/development experience
  • Be able to demonstrate experience of working in a team and an understanding of team dynamics
  • To have an understanding of the health and social care provision across Integrated Care Systems, ideally BNSSG
  • To be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the Healthier Together priorities across BNSSG and local impact.
