Job overview
To provide a comprehensive clerical and administrative support to Women’s Services Governance Team across the range of duties and responsibilities, in order to ensure that the service is provided within defined quality standards as directed by the Womens Services Service Manager and Women's Lead, Clinical Risk & Governance Officer.
To provide administrative support to the Women’s Information and Governance Programme and projects. Maintain project action plans, risk registers and associated project documentation. Support the Governance Secretary and Women's Lead, Clinical Risk & Governance Manager with implementation of new systems and governance processes.
Please note the base can either be Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, Ysbyty Gwynedd or Ysbyty Wrexham Maelor.
Main duties of the job
To contribute to the Women’s Services Information & Governance Programme in ensuring the database and Systems are cleansed, utilising the systems reporting mechanism to run various reports to support the completion of Key Performance Indicators arising from the Women’s Information and Governance Programme for LHB and national update reports.
To provide secretarial and clerical support to the Women's Lead, Clinical Risk & Governance Manager and Governance Secretary. The post holder under the direction of the Governance Secretary will be required to produce regular statistical and other analyses for reporting purposes.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential criteria
- NVQ level 3 in an administrative related field or equivalent level of qualifications/skills/experience. GCSE Grade C or able in English and Maths or equivalent qualification
Desirable criteria
- ECDL or ability to demonstrate equivalent level of skills
Experience
Essential criteria
- Significant administrative/ Secretarial experience including initiating and maintaining office systems. Demonstrable experience in dealing with the public and managing sensitive situation and confidential information.

- Practical experience of managing Complaints within the NHS
