You will be an experienced therapeutic radiographer with excellent communication, leadership and teamworking skills ready to help run a busy pre-treatment unit in a friendly, modern radiotherapy department.
This role involves the day to day management of the radiotherapy patient workload and leading a team of radiographers on one of our new linear accelerators at our main site at the General or at our satellite centre in Basingstoke. Other areas of rotational work include pre-treatment, DXR and in our new Brachytherapy suite.

A wealth of additional opportunities are available in the following areas; TBI and SABR providing safe, state-of-the-art patient centred care for our patients. We are also a regional sarcoma centre, a tertiary referral centre for Neuro-oncology (delivering SRS/T) and our main site is also the only centre in the country delivering Intra operative Radiotherapy (IOERT) for Pancreatic and GI tumours.

We are the first centre in the UK to have Exactrac Dynamic in clinical use on 3 of our 7 Linacs providing sub-millimetre correction through stereoscopic imaging with 6 degrees of freedom correction. Our other linacs and our 3 CTs (1 with 4DCT acquisition) have Align RT allowing thermal and surface guided set up and tracking.

We believe that using technology wisely shows strong time management and commitment to innovation. However, personalizing your recruitment application to highlight your unique skills and experiences is crucial. Relying too heavily on generic, AI-generated content instead of drawing from your own strengths and accomplishments may lead to your application being rejected if multiple candidates present identical or similar information.
