We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, flexible and hard working person to join our small team of Patient Discharge Lounge. We are compassionate and small knitted team working to smoothen the patient flow throughout the hospital. The department specialises in ensuring safe discharges for all kinds of specialities including medicine and surgery. We are Gold awardee for the Achieving Excellence programme and our colleagues have attained numeours Greatix and PALS compliments.  

The department is open between Monday to Friday 7am to 8pm and closed on weekends and bank holidays. Suitable candidates will ideally have:

-Excellent communication skills

-Effective interpersonal skills with staff and patientsDesire to develop new skills and knowledgeFlexible working approach

To assist in the provision of highly quality care to patients and their families under the direction and supervision of the Multi-disciplinary Team.

Demonstrate a range of nursing skills to meet the needs of patients whilst promoting dignity, privacy and respect. To compliy with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers. To provide a range of healthcare and non-nursing duties, ensuring an efficient and effective service to the ward/department at all times.
