An exciting opportunity has arisen to operationally lead and manage the BCUHB Conwy Health Visiting & School Nursing Service, as part of a job-share position with an existing manager.
The post is advertised as 15 hours per week. The post holder would be based at Abergele Health Clinic.
Applications are invited from practitioners meeting the essential requirements of the post, particularly from persons with SCPHN Health Visiting qualification and experience.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide highly visible, professional leadership, management, and clinical expertise to the Health Visiting & School Nursing team, ensuring that the service provided is of a high quality.
The post holder will have broad knowledge within the field of Health Visiting and / or School Nursing and Service related Key Performance Indicators, also a wider understanding of the Public Health needs of the population across the localities covered by the teams.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

- NMC Registered Nurse with Qualifications appropriate to the Service Area Managed
- Continued professional and management development
- Relevant Degree
- Recognised and relevant management qualification or must be achieved 1 - 2 years of being in post
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of mentoring
- Assessment and / or teaching
Experience
Essential criteria
- Management experience at band 6 or above
- Relevant Clinical Experience
- Child Protection / Safeguarding training at Level 3
- Service and / or policy development
