Opportunity has arisen for additional Health Care Assistants to join our team on the Children’s Unit.
We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic staff with a passion to work with children and their families.
The Children's Unit consists of 19 inpatient beds including 1 High Dependency bed, 3 Enhanced Care beds.
We also have 6 Assessment unit beds, 6 medical/surgical day case beds and 2 Oncology beds.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
To assist registered nurses deliver evidenced-based care to patients/clients,
working in partnership with other health care professionals, the patient and their family /carers
Deliver patient care as documented in the nursing care plan under the supervision of the registered nurse.

Essential criteria
- Basic numeracy, verbal and literacy skills.
- Level 2 NVQ/QCF in health and social care or equivalent experience within a health or care environment Independent Non-Medical Prescriber

- Experience required to fulfil the requirements of the post.
