Job overview

The West Berkshire Community Hospital is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated nurse to help us continue to provide high quality care for all our patients. In return we will offer continued support and development as well as a safe and enjoyable place to work.
If you are a registered nurse, or 6 months post registration nurse or are interested in returning to practice, we can offer exciting opportunity in the renal unit working in one of our Haemodialysis units.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for staff that are able to work flexibly over a range of shift patterns within the units. If you are not able to work flexibly, please state in your application what hours are you able to work.

We are looking for motivated and highly enthusiastic individuals to become part of our team.

The successful candidate will undertake a programme of in-house training underpinned by continued support of both personal and professional development. The unit is open Monday to Saturday with no night duty.

Essential criteria
  • Registered Nurse –part 1
  • Current NMC registration
Desirable criteria
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent or working towards

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience (through placement or employment ) of working in an acute clinical environment
Desirable criteria
  • Experience in speciality may be an advantage

Other

  • Information technology literate.
