Job overview

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate General Practitioner with extended role (GPwER) to join our multidisciplinary Long Covid service, working 1 day per week initially on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is an opportunity to contribute to an evolving area of healthcare and support patients living with the ongoing effects of Long Covid.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals, including a GP, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and specialist nurses, to provide holistic care for patients suffering from long Covid symptoms. You will bring your GP expertise, with a special interest in complex, multi-system conditions, and contribute to assessment, diagnosis, care planning, and ongoing management of this patient group.
