The Birmingham Women’s & Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a substantive Consultant in gynecology with special interest in Placenta Accreta Spectrum
Main duties of the job
Working closely with colleagues in the direct team and across Obstetric and Gynaecology services and networks. The attached job description describe the services at our Trust and outline both proposed Job descriptions for the roles available.
These posts are advertised as full-time roles, however applicants wishing to be considered for a position with fewer sessions are welcome to apply. The post holders are required to have full registration with the General Medical Council & a valid license to practice medicine at this level. Person specification
Essential and Desirable
Essential criteria
- • Full GMC registration
- • MRCOG or appropriate specialist registration
- • Relevant CCT or equivalent (‘equivalence’ must be confirmed by GMC by date of AAC)
- • Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the date of the AAC
- • Completion of Labour Ward ATSM
- • Experience of supervising junior staff
- • Prepared to live within 10 miles or 30 minutes of the hospital or remain resident whilst on call

- • Further higher degree

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
