Job overview
As a Qualified Dental Nurse you will be responsible for supporting the service in ensuring that our service users needs are met through the delivery of high-quality care.
You will be part of a motivated Dental Team delivering excellent patient care. Assisting with minor oral surgery procedures and supporting during appointments.
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Dental Nurses, with excellent clinical and communication skills to join our dynamic Dental team.
Main duties of the job
You will participate in clinical duties within the department and be responsible for ensuring that dental care is provided safely and to a high standard.
There will be opportunities for you to upskill to assist with sedation sessions, supporting our clinical experts.
You will also supporting with some administrative clinic duties relating to the services we provide, ensuring that our patients receive high quality care in a timely manner.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- National certificate of Dental Nurses or NVQ 3 in Dental Nursing
Desirable criteria
- Conscious sedation (SAAD) qualification or experience
Experience

- Dental / Oral Surgery experience
Communication
Essential criteria
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally & written
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of different dental procedures
- Knowledge of IPC precautions
Desirable criteria
- Assisting in conscious sedation sessions
