Job overview

Managing Oncology emergencies within the ward-based setting.

Managing patients within the new and follow up clinic including complex chronic conditions.

Day unit management of patients including prescribing systemic treatment and managing complications.

Opportunity to learn HICKMAN line removals and Drainage.

Expected to participate in Research and Trials, Audits, QIP’s, Teaching sessions and Active training sessions with Junior colleagues.  

To carry out general Oncology duties in-line with the needs of the Department, covering day-time clinical sessions including Durnall Unit, Cannock Day unit and Daily On Calls.

  • 3 years post degree work experience

  • UK work experience
