The Data Warehouse Engineer role will deputise the Data Warehouse Manager. The role will be hands on in the management and continuous development of the Trust’s on-premise, Private cloud and Azure public cloud SQL data warehousing environment.
Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
The use of Microsoft tools within the data stack will be common. These include but are not limited to SSIS and SSMS. This role is not just confined to Data Warehouse administration but will be heavily involved in dataset development for use within the organisation and in support of projects outside of the organisation.

- Industry certifications (Microsoft Azure Data Engineer, Databricks Certified Data Engineer)

- Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline
Experience

- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining SQL-based data pipelines or ETL workflows
- Experience of automating data transfers or extract creation
- Experience working with relational databases, especially SQL Server
- Experience transforming raw datasets into analysis-ready structures
- Experience managing and governing access to SQL Server and SQL Databases
