We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy team, potentially working on a rotational basis covering sites across the acute hospital and community settings within Ceredigion. Main duties of the job

You will work as an autonomous practitioner in the delivery of a physiotherapy service across various clinical specialties through a rotational programme. Four monthly rotations will include Medical/Respiratory, Orthopaedic, Neuro, Community, Front of house and MSK.  You will use evidence based/ client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in primary, community and secondary care settings. 

You will deliver a clinical service as a member of an integrated multidisciplinary/ agency team and  contribute to quality improvements across all aspects of physiotherapy, including participation in audit and research.

This role will aim to consolidate undergraduate education and develop independent clinical practice through continuous professional development (C.P.D). In addition, you will assist the senior staff in the development and education of support workers and students.

You may be asked to participate in the provision of a flexible 7 day service, based on service need. There will also be an expectation for you to participate on the respiratory on call rota supported through adequate training.

There will be a need to be able to travel to different destinations across the county in a timely manner.

•    Two integrated care centres: Aberaeron and Cardigan in Ceredigion, and several other community settings 
•    47 general practices (six of which are health board managed practices); dental practices (including four orthodontic); 97 community pharmacies; 43 general ophthalmic practices; and 8 ophthalmic domiciliary providers 
•    Numerous mental health and learning disabilities services

  • Evidence of relevant CPD activities
