Hywel Dda University Health Board has a new, exciting opportunity for motivated, driven and passionate Physiotherapy Support worker based in Carmarthenshire.
We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and motivation to support community therapy intervention. You will become part of our busy and friendly Community Physiotherapy Team in Carmarthenshire Locality, delivering rehabilitation to adults in the community environment and helping them to work towards functional independence.
Main duties of the job
You will have experience of using highly skilled handling techniques to facilitate patient movement, and/or rehabilitation. You will work with others in the team in the treatment of patients, and independently following treatment plans.
You will work in a variety of settings including, people's own homes, rehabilitation spaces and community hospitals.
We are looking for a caring, friendly person and has the ability to get on with people in a mature and positive way.
You will need to have the ability to travel between sites in a timely manner.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Hywel Dda University Health Board plans and provides NHS healthcare services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and bordering counties.
We have over 13,000 staff and together we provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services.
We work in partnership with the three local authorities, as well as public, private and third sector colleagues, including our valued team of volunteers.

Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Numeracy and literacy to at least GCSE level or equivalent
- NVQ 3 / or level 3 learning or equivalent
- Evidence of broad base of general education and/or life experiences
- IT Skills
- Practical experience and knowledge acquired through in house training, short courses
Desirable criteria
- Professional, technical or academic qualification which relate to clinical practice evidencing 60 credits level 3 learning.
- ECDL
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of physiotherapy service or in an associated healthcare field
- Willingness to undergo relevant training
- Computer/keyboard skills
- Experience of working alone and as part of a team
Desirable criteria
- Additional clinical or health care related experience
- Experience of working with groups of patients

- Welsh Speaker (Level 1)
