Preseli Ward are looking to recruit dynamic and driven individuals to join our Nursing team. Preseli Ward is a 23 bedded colorectal and upper GI unit nursing all major procedures and is the designated step down area for ACCU. Monday to Friday 3 day case trollies are utilised for all specialities of surgery.

The Ward is a busy and challenging area offering an opportunity to gain invaluable experience in the surgical setting.

The Ward will have Patients with PICC lines for TPN administration. NG and NJ feeding tubes with complex regimes multiple medical and surgical issues, large and complex wounds some requiring negative pressure therapy. We have a core of experienced surgical nurses to provide support and guidance for all staff. 

Shifts patterns are flexible and we are currently offering 12 hour shifts as well as normal shift patterns

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
