Main duties of the job

We are looking for a motivated individual, who is passionate about improving training and education of Pharmacists. At the university you will be part of the Pharmacy team, contributing to the delivery of the MPharm programme and the provision of pastoral and professional support to students.

As an advanced Pharmacist you will be responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of a patient focused clinical pharmacy service. The successful candidate will work within general medical wards, developing their pharmacist role with potential to develop in pharmacist led clinics as an IP.

You will work with the multidisciplinary team, monitoring financial expenditure, undertaking research and service improvement, alongside supporting the core pharmacy services in the dispensary and on wards. As a teacher practitioner, you will ensure pharmacy undergraduates develop the professional, clinical and patient centred skills throughout their training. You will deliver lectures and workshops and play an important role in the evaluation of clinical, pharmacy practice and professional skills.
