CT Assistant

Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CT assistant to join our friendly CT team, with a requirement for rotation between all Radiology departments at South Tees NHS Hospital sites. 

The role will incorporate a 7-day working week with shifts covering 8am-8pm and 9-5pm. Cover is required 365 days per year.

Main duties will include preparing patients prior for their scans, cannulating and assisting the patients throughout their time within the department. Maintain an efficient daily worklist through dealing with patient queries, appointments and assisting the Radiographers.

This post is part of the collaborative initiative of the Community Diagnostic Hub program. Although the successful candidate will be employed by South Tees Foundation Trust (STHFT), there will be an expectation of collaborative working across the Tees Valley in the future should the need be required, however this role is primarily for STHFT CT services, and the successful candidate will join the CT rota for STHFT. Successful candidates will be an employee of South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and managed as per the governance arrangements currently in place for Radiology and the organisation'.
