Job overview

We are seeking  People Systems & Information Officers to join our Workforce People Services team.  

This is an exciting time for us as we embark on our journey to fully embrace HR digital solutions across the UHT People Directorate and positively impact the organisation through  maximising opportunities to develop the use of ESR, in readiness for the new ESR solution.

Main duties of the job

You will maintain ESR (Electronic Staff Records) and  support the implementation of ESR functionality, specifically the deployment of  Self Service and Onboarding and you will support the creative delivery of user training. 

The production of accurate and relevant  workforce and management data and the administration of pay impacting schemes are also key components of this role, as such you must be:

Confident in dealing with stakeholders and be able to manage multiple and demanding priorities independently.  You will be skilled in the delivery of training and workshops and experienced in supporting system users.  You must have excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills and be solution focussed.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • GCSEs Grades A-C (to include Maths and English) or equivalent knowledge gained through experience
  • NVQ3 level Business Administration or equivalent relevant qualification or experience

Knowledge & Skills

Essential criteria
  • Use of and knowledge of management information systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working Knowledge of Data Protection Legislation and Information Governance standards
Desirable criteria
  • Knowledge of NHS Occupation Codes, staff groups, job roles and Workforce Dataset Requirements
  • Knowledge of NHS and Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions, CQC and Audit compliance
