Job overview

An opportunity has come up for a Security Officer at the Friarage Hospital,

The security department has the purpose of providing a dedicated and professional service to all

the patrons of the Trust; the service provides staff escorts, crime prevention and a quick

response service in cases of emergency.

Main duties of the job

To assist in providing a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors within the

Friarage Hospital site and adjoining premises.  To protect the buildings and their contents, from

theft unsolicited visitors and damage.

The security department operates 24 hourly, 365 days a year, with its main remit being the

Health & safety of the environment and reporting of all instances of crime
