Job overview
Applications are invited from competent, able Operating Department Practitioner and Staff Nurse who wish to provide dynamic support to the theatre team in the Friarage Surgical Centre.
The Friarage Surgical Centre is a nationally recognised surgical hub, with high standards of clinical and operational practice. With a reputation for excellence which attracts consultants who are leaders in their fields including orthopaedics, general surgery, anaesthesia, gynaecology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, ophthalmology, pain management, plastic surgery, urology and ear nose and throat, our patients’ needs are at the heart of the Friarage surgical hub.
Main duties of the job
As part of our dynamic team you will be able to work flexibly across all theatres and recovery. The surgical hub has 6 main operating theatres, 2 minor ops theatres, block room and recovery, currently operating 8.00am-18.00pm Mon - Fri.
We are committed to staff development and offer a competency based training package. Good communication and organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential to this post.

- Registered Nurse with NMC or ODP with HCPC
