Main duties of the job

As a registered  nurse for the Dermatology Unit in Truro, we can offer you development  opportunities to further your career and gain your first experience in nursing. We will help you develop your skills, knowledge and professional confidence.

From day one you would be placed with  our dynamic and supportive team who will guide and support you.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Level 1 Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration / students pending registration
Desirable criteria
  • Assessing & Mentoring qualification  Commitment to obtain assessing / mentoring qualification

Experience

Essential criteria
  • A minimum of six months experience in an acute Trust within the last twelve months (this can include student placement)
Desirable criteria
  • Experience within the speciality

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Understanding of evidence based practice to enhance care
  • Understanding of professional and current issues in nursing
  • Understanding of the importance of research and evidence based practice
