Job overview
DSFS are looking to recruit the right person into the position of Hospitality Host who will join our team on a part time basis of 20 hrs per week, working Monday - Friday within our Hospitality Department located at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
As a Hospitality Host, you'll have an important part to play in making sure that buffets are prepared and delivered on time and in particular, you'll provide a friendly, engaging and helpful service to our customers.

This opportunity offers shifts 5 days per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 3pm.
Our Catering Teams are the focal point for patients, visitors and staff in the Hospital. We are looking for someone who will thrive in a role that requires exceptional customer service.

Annual leave starting at 27 days pro rata per annum.
No weekend or Bank Holidays shifts required.
Our Pension is a NEST pension. Upon joining you can choose whether to pay 5% or 8% and DSFS will match whichever you choose.
Main duties of the job
- As a Hospitality Team Member, you will be expected to have exceptional customer service and the ability to serve our guests in a friendly, approachable manner.
- Must be highly skilled in food preparation and stock rotation in the Stacked food preparation area.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to keep calm under pressure
- You will be pivotal in ensuring full compliance with all Foods Safety requirements

Qualifications and Training
Essential criteria
- Level 2 food hygiene certificate or willing to undertake
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, or equivalent experience (to include Maths and English
Desirable criteria
- Advanced Food Hygiene Level 3
- Experience with Food Allergies, special diets and labelling

- Experience in a similar position where there are peaks and troughs in demand during service times
