To provide an efficient reception/administration support service to the multi-disciplinary team within the South West Liver Unit, using iPM, Salus and other Trust IT systems.
***Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.***

Receive patients, relatives and visitors to the ward.
Enter admissions, transfers and discharges on IPM/SALUS, including ward and department transfers, updating patient information where necessary .

Qualifications

- GCSE’s 9-4 (A-C) in Maths & English and NVQ level 2 in either business administration or related subject or equivalent demonstrable experience
Knowledge and Experience

- Previous demonstrable reception/clerical experience
- Proven relevant ICT skills

- Previous demonstrable experience in a large clinical setting
- Proven knowledge of patient management systems

- Good communication skills, written and verbal, with ability to demonstrate fluency, clarity and effectiveness at all levels.
