Due to career progression an opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Registered Nurse to join the District Nursing Team covering the Dorchester area. Applicants should be positive and enthusiastic about nursing patients in the home environment, including complex and end of life care. We are able to offer a comprehensive training package and support for the successful applicants. We have one part time post, 30 hours per week, initially on a one year fixed term contract.

The team works closely with members of the wider multi-disciplinary primary care team including GP practices, nurse practitioners and nurse specialists, therapists, social services and voluntary services . The team is well established and offer a nurturing and supportive environment to new staff members.
We would welcome applications from newly qualified nurses and we provide a very comprehensive and fully supported Preceptorship Programme for newly qualified Nurses
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £40 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments.
Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service and are able to present a valid DBS certificate will not incur a charge
