Would you like to join an innovative and exciting MSK Physiotherapy Team with training and progression options within the East Riding of Yorkshire?

We are looking to recruit a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapy full time role within our East Riding MSK service.
Opportunities for the post holder to develop with in-service MSK days and online training.

We currently offer a variety of care options through telehealth, face to face clinics and digitally supported options for patients. Excellent support will be provided to develop your MSK skills toward advanced levels. This is an extremely exciting time in the MSK world, come join a team that is constantly evolving and will bring out the very best in you.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will offer a high standard of evidence based rehabilitative care working within a specific service area. They will be responsible for their own autonomous practice and ensure effective patient care is maintained.

This is a static post and the post holder maybe required to travel to any locality within the East Riding MSK service.

Person specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Current full HCPC Registration
  • Post Graduate Diploma in relevant area
Desirable criteria
  • Additional relevant qualifications. Eg; Masters level education, independent prescribing
  • Counselling Skills

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Knowledge and understanding of local/regional rehabilitation services
  • Understand the importance of the supported self-management model.
  • Evidence of CPD activity, including nationally recognised training undertaken in relevant specialty
  • Evidence of reflective practice, IST and CPD portfolio

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Broad based clinical experience covering core clinical areas in musculoskeletal service
  • Post graduate experience of working within musculoskeletal settings.
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of involvement in audit and/or research
  • Previous experience in undertaking management duties.
