The applicant should have recent UK experience and have completed foundation B5 rotations, including Stroke/ Neurology at B5 or B6 level.
The post holder will be self motivated and aspirational, be able to assess in an effective and timely manner within a rapid paced environment. Confidence in enabling patients in positive risk taking, personalised care, assessment of capacity, cognitive assessments, manual handling, functional assessment and knowledge of the Stroke care pathways will be enhanced and nurtured within this role
Support will be provided to enhance operational management skills and the post holders will be supported to contribute to service planning, development and teaching. As a senior occupational therapist, the post holders will need to be a role model for their team and pride themselves on delivering high quality care, motivating their team to do the same
