Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust are looking to recruit a Senior Administration Assistant to work within its Workforce Systems team. This is a key part of the organisation and comes at an exciting time with significant change planned in the coming years.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who works well within a team and is keen to learn and develop new skills. They should be passionate about delivering the best service possible while also being focused on continuous improvement.

The role will predominantly involve supporting the maintenance of the Trust's main workforce system - ESR - and its core functions, as well as providing guidance to employees and managers on a day to day basis.

The role is part time between Monday and Friday, with some flexibility on working pattern and remote working.

Main duties of the job

You will be working as a key part of the Workforce Systems team, providing administrative support to the ESR & Workforce Information Team Leader and the teams Administration Officers.

The role will involve supporting the maintenance of our systems, so we are looking for someone with an eye for detail and an appetite for learning new processes and skills. Liaising with our employees and managers to resolve questions and issues is another fundamental part of the role, so strong communication skills are essential.

Applicants should have good IT skills and be comfortable working at a desk for prolonged periods. The team routinely uses various software packages, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook. Experience of working with ESR would be advantageous, however is not essential as full training will be provided.

Qualifications and Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • 'A’ Level/BTEC Diploma/NVQ3 Business Administration/Customer Service or equivalent experiential learning or experience
  • 3 or more GCSE/O levels which must include English and Maths
  • Advanced keyboard skills: RSA/OCR III or equivalent/Advanced ECDL

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Knowledge and experience of IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience of inputting data into systems and maintaining records.
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of using NHS IT Systems – e.g. Lorenzo, ESR, Oracle.
