Person specification

Experience

Essential criteria

Highly specialist knowledge and experience in a specialised analytical or clinical area relevant to post
Experience of managing people and leadership
Experience of Pathology IT systems
Practical experience of Quality Management Systems
Experience of performing and evaluating Risk Assessments
Extensive practical experience of working in a Biomedical Science laboratory
To have undertaken Research, Development and audit activities.

Desirable criteria

Previous relevant experience of working in the NHS
Relevant scientific publications
European Computer Driving Licence or equivalent

Education

Essential criteria

HCPC Registration as a Biomedical Scientist or Clinical scientist
Science Degree or equivalent
Appropriate Post Graduate Masters degree or equivalent.
Evidence of CPD

Desirable criteria

Holding or working towards a qualification that supports management responsibilities
