Job overview

The accuracy, timeliness, consistency and relevance of data and information are vitally important for the Trust, not only to secure the correct income levels but also inform decision-making regarding the future of clinical services and patient safety.  Data produced by the Trust informs secondary users within the NHS, Integrated Care System and other external bodies to produce statistics (such as standardised mortality rates) and monitor clinical outcomes and key quality indicators.

The post-holder will assist in the delivery of outcomes and recommendations identified by data quality audits and the maintenance of data quality reports and procedures.  Supporting the monitoring of agreed key performance and quality metrics will also form a major part of this role.

The postholder will work closely with operational and administrative staff across the Trust, as part of a Data Quality team focused on delivering significant but sustainable improvements in the quality of data and increase the level of assurance in the intelligence it generates
