Health Visitor vacancy – based at Pen Y Maes Health Centre band 6 – Part time 30 hours per week.

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative Health Visitor to join our universal Health Visiting service in the Wrexham area, North Wales. We are looking for a self-motivated team player who has excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

The post holder will manage a caseload within a defined population, with overarching aims of increasing family resilience, improving population health outcomes and reducing health inequalities whilst safeguarding the wellbeing of children. The post holder will contribute to the public health role in line with government public health initiatives and within the Healthy Child Wales Programme.

Candidates must hold a degree or equivalent in Health Visiting with current NMC registration. Student Health Visitors who are due to qualify in 2021 are eligible to apply for this post.

Employment in this post is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
