Band 2 Healthcare Assistant required for Herts & Essex Hospital in Bishops Stortford

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our friendly, supportive multidisciplinary team. You will be working alongside our trained nursing and therapy staff assisting them in the day to day care and management of our patients to ensure they receive safe, high quality nursing care on our rehabilitation unit at the Herts and Essex Community Hospital in Bishop's Stortford.

Main duties of the job

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The post holder will carry out a broad range of patient care activities under supervision of a Qualified nurse, maintaining patient privacy and dignity at all times.  The role is flexible and dependent upon the assessed competency of the individual.  The post holder will be required to work a rotational shift pattern between long days 11.5 hour shifts and 11.5 hour night duty shifts. This will predominantly be days but night duty as necessary in line with the service needs.
