The Trust is part of the Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care System (ICS) supporting a population of around 1.6 million people.
We have three main hospitals providing acute services to around 330,000 local residents. The organisation also provides specialist tertiary care for cardiac and haematology services, delivers community health services to over 445,000 residents including those in North Lancashire and hosts the National Artificial Eye Service across England. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team. We have a part time 28 hour vacant position.
Successful applicants will join an established paediatric nursing team in the Emergency Department, as they move forward to provide a 24-hour paediatric nursing service. This is a rotational post, and will be a shift pattern of days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
Blackpool has an extremely busy Emergency Department, treating patients who present with a variety of health care needs. The learning and development opportunities are vast. We consider the Department to be an innovative and creative environment for those nurses pursuing a career in Emergency nursing.
You must,
• Be a Registered Paediatric Nurse, or a Student Nurse with an interest in this area.
