Job overview
An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic team player to join the Cancer Services team of MDT Co-ordinators based at St Marks – London North West Healthcare NHS Trust.
Main duties of the job
The MDT co-ordinator post is pivotal in ensuring timely patient progression through their pathway both before and after a cancer diagnosis has been made and experience of working in a busy acute hospital environment is a pre requisite.

Education/Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Educated to A-level/NVQ level 3 5 GCSEs, graded at C or above
Desirable criteria
- Medical terminology course
Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
- Previous NHS experience Significant Experience as a MDT co-ordinator or data analyst/manager Extensive experience of Microsoft Office applications and database software • Excellent understanding of the Cancer Waiting Times guidance.
Desirable criteria
- Experience of collecting cancer waiting times data & understanding of the Cancer Waiting Times guidance.
- Extensive experience of Microsoft Office applications and hospital database software
- Significant Experience as a MDT co-ordinator or data analyst/manager
Skills/Abilities/aptitudes
Essential criteria
- High standard of written communication skills in supporting information
Desirable criteria
- Experience of using video-conferencing
