Job overview
Clinical Fellow for Dermatology
We are looking for a Speciality Doctor for Dermatology at LNWH
This is an excellent opportunity to develop experience in both inpatient and outpatient dermatology services. Clinical commitments include regular outpatient clinics, weekly minor procedures list and inpatient (referral) emergency care. There will be opportunity to present interesting cases at local meetings. The successful candidates would be expected to be actively involved in departmental audits, journal club and medical student teaching.
The post holders will be responsible for managing inpatient referrals in a timely fashion including liaison with various medical and nursing staff on wards.
Main duties of the job
There are no out of hour on-call commitments, however you will be participating in a proportioned rota to support and supervise the junior doctors who may require senior intervention with ward referrals.
To provide outpatient dermatology clinics and minor Ops sessions as allocated by the Service Lead and to help support the supervision of junior team members.
