Job overview
As part of a small team, the Fire, Health and Safety Managers are responsible for the efficient operation, planning and development of the Fire Safety Services and supporting the Health and Safety Team across the Trust, ensuring that these functions are carried out to nationally agreed and recognised standards for the benefit of patients, visitors and staff.
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified, experienced and motivated Fire, Health and Safety Manager to join the Compliance, Fire and Health and Safety Team within the Estates & Facilities Directorate at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.
As part of a small team, the post holder will be responsible for the efficient operation, planning and development of the fire safety services and support the health and safety services across the Trust, ensuring that these functions are carried out to nationally agreed and recognised standards for the benefit of patients, visitors and staff.
The post will be covering all of London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust premises, with the post base split between Northwick Park & St Mark’s Hospital and Ealing Hospital. The post will be required to work and travel across all Trust premises.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Estates & Facilities (Compliance, Fire and Health and Safety), the successful applicant will have extensive knowledge of and experience in all fire and health and safety matters, be highly motivated and organised with the ability to deliver advice
