Job overview

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Team Leader to join our ENT team at Northwick Park Hospital.

The role  is challenging and the post holder would be expected to work on their own initiative, whilst having the support of peers and the Service Manager.   Applicants are required to be computer literate with sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Your role will be crucial to the smooth running of the services, as you will be managing the local admin team. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to ensure that all patients have a positive experience of the service.

You will be able to work independently using your own initiative while maintaining your role as a strong team player.

Training will be provided for our IT systems and local processes.

Main duties of the job

To provide day-to-day operational management for the outpatient  team including recruitment, appraisals and continuous professional development for all secretarial staff
Support the General Manager, Service Manager and Clinical Team in delivering the Trust’s key performance targets through effective and flexible use of physical resources to minimise waste.
To support the General Manager, Service Manager and Clinical Lead in formulating the strategic direction of services.
To liaise with the multidisciplinary teams, to facilitate improvements in quality of care using lessons learned from adverse incidents and patient complaints.
